Cairo is the capital of Egypt the largest city in Africa and in the Middle East and one of the friendliest and safest cities in the entire world where every one can feel the warm hospitality of the Egyptians.

Lies on the banks of the Nile River at the point where it splits in a fan – like manner for its onward route north through the Nile Delta to the Mediterranean.
Once upon a time it was known as the city of thousand Minarets  due to the huge number of mosques and Islamic architecture all over the city.

It is warm city although it has a raising humidly level due to the Nile especially in July and August while it has a very good weather the rest of the year.

Places to see in Cairo

The Egyptian Museum of Antiquities which houses thousands of artefacts throughout the long history of the Pharaonic Egypt especially the treasures of the famous Tut Ankh Amun and the  Mummies hall.
The Citadel of Saladin that was built between 1176 and 1182 A.D  to defend the eastern side of Cairo , and it includes the Alabaster mosque of Mohammed Ali  , Al Agawhara Palace and the Military museum.
Huge number of Mosques like Amr Ibn El Ass , Ibn Tulun , Al Azhar and many others.
Old Cairo , the old city of Cairo which contains Ben Ezra Synagogue , Abu Serga Church , El – Moallaqa church and the Coptic Museum.
Khan El Khalili, the famous street with its bazaars on both sides that made it the largest bazaar in the Middle East and one of the oldest markets in the world.
